With advances in the green building sector and the construction industry, staying in-tune with the latest building materials and technology is the need of the time. Therefore, the larger vision of SPL is to educate students and young industry professionals across India on the basics of insulation, its applications in the building industry. The e-learning training modules will help participants to learn about insulation and its benefits to green buildings.

SPL has trained a workforce with this expertise and skillsets to support the buildings industry and feels the need to increase this workforce for the future. The course fits in the larger purview of the Sustainable development Goals SDG 11, building a strong foundation of application and action-based knowledge creation and dissemination.

Supreme Petrochem Limited (SPL) is the largest manufacturer of Styrenic raw materials in India. SPL is the only manufacturer of Extruded Polystyrene (XPS) insulation boards and the largest manufacturer of Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) raw material used to build products in the construction industry.
SPL has been encouraging architects and developers to adopt insulation in their various building applications which will provide indoor thermal comfort and energy savings for its users and occupants.
